Quality Test · On Camera
Bend It Hard. It Won't Crack.
Watch our PVC electrical pipe go through a real bending test. Full wall thickness and a properly formulated compound give the conduit the flexibility to follow tight routing on site -- without splitting, whitening or collapsing.
-
01 · Flexibility
Bends without cracking
Smooth radius for easier routing around corners and obstacles.
-
02 · Wall thickness
No thin-wall shortcuts
Consistent wall keeps the bore open and protects the cable inside.
-
03 · Material
Flame-retardant compound
Virgin-grade PVC formulation, no recycled fillers diluting performance.
-
04 · Consistency
Batch-level inspection
ISO 9001 QC so every container performs like the sample.
Material Comparison
PVC Electrical Pipe Vs Metal Conduit
For most general building wiring, PVC conduit delivers lighter handling, corrosion resistance and lower installed cost.
| Item | PVC Electrical Pipe | Metal Conduit |
|---|---|---|
| Weight | Lightweight | Heavy |
| Corrosion resistance | Good | May rust without treatment |
| Installation | Easy to cut and install | Requires more tools |
| Cost | More economical | Higher cost |
| Electrical conductivity | Non-conductive | Conductive |
| Application | General electrical wiring | Heavy-duty or special environments |

PVC Electrical Pipe · Production Process
Eight Controlled Steps from Resin to Container
Every ANTON conduit runs through a documented process with in-line checkpoints, so wall thickness, flame retardancy and dimensions stay consistent from the first batch to the hundredth.
-
Incoming QC
Step 1: Raw Material Selection
Qualified PVC resin and RoHS / REACH-compliant additives from approved suppliers. Each lot is checked before it enters the warehouse -- no unverified recycled fillers.
-
Formula control
Step 2: Compounding
Resin, stabilizers, impact modifiers and lubricants are blended in high-speed hot and cold mixers to a fixed formula for uniform, workable dry blend.
-
Critical step
Step 3: Flame-Retardant Dosing
Flame-retardant additives are weighed and recorded per batch -- never short-dosed to save cost. This is where low-price suppliers cut corners; we hold the line.
-
Process monitoring
Step 4: Extrusion
Twin-screw extruders with zoned temperature control melt and push the compound through precision dies, giving a smooth bore and even wall around the full circumference.
-
In-line gauging
Step 5: Cooling & Sizing
Vacuum sizing sleeves and water-spray tanks lock in outer diameter and roundness. Operators verify OD and wall thickness at set intervals during the run.
-
Length check
Step 6: Cutting & Belling
Synchronized cutters deliver clean, square ends at the ordered length. Pipe ends are socket-belled on request for fast, fitting-free connections on site.
-
ISO 9001 QC
Step 7: Quality Inspection
Batch samples are tested for dimensions, wall thickness, compression, impact and flame resistance. Results are logged so every shipment is traceable.
-
OEM ready
Step 8: Printing & Packaging
Inline marking with size, standard, batch code or your brand. Pipes are bundled, labeled and packed in OEM or private-label packaging, ready for mixed-container loading.

FAQ
PVC Electrical Pipe Questions
Need a specific answer for your project or market? Our team replies within 24 hours.
Ask our engineersWhat is PVC electrical pipe used for?
It protects and routes electrical wires in residential, commercial and industrial buildings -- through walls, ceilings and floors, or surface-mounted -- reducing direct cable exposure and keeping wiring organized.
Is PVC conduit pipe flame-retardant?
Yes. ANTON pipes use a flame-retardant PVC compound with correctly dosed additives. UL94-related test reports are available on request for project approvals.
Can you supply matching fittings?
Yes. We manufacture couplings, elbows, bends, junction boxes, adaptors and more, sized to match our pipe. They can be shipped together with trunking, wiring ducts and cable ties in a mixed container.
What diameters are available?
Diameters are listed by available model across light, medium and heavy-duty series. Send us your target market standard and sizes, and we will share the matching model list and datasheet.
Can you customize length and color?
Yes. Length is confirmed per order requirement, and pipes are available in white, grey or customized colors. OEM printing and private-label packaging are also supported.
Is PVC conduit better than metal conduit?
For general electrical wiring, PVC conduit is lighter, corrosion-resistant, non-conductive, easier to cut and more economical. Metal conduit remains a choice for some heavy-duty or special environments.
